About The Position
The Fremont Wafer Manufacturing team is seeking a highly motivated AI/Machine Learning intern to apply the-state-of-the-art AI and ML methodologies for challenging yield and quality problems in high volume semiconductor manufacturing. This internship offers hands-on exposure to semiconductor manufacturing while providing an opportunity to make a meaningful business impact at Western Digital. Interns will leverage big data analytics on datasets collected from processes, equipment, metrology, and testing across both frontend (wafer fab) and backend (slider fab) manufacturing, and contribute to predictive modeling efforts aimed at improving yield and quality outcomes.
