About the position

As an integral part of Frontier's success, Treasury Interns receive high visibility by management along with a range of formal training and informal learning opportunities that support ongoing professional development and career growth. The Treasury Department is a high exposure component of the corporate finance area of the company that manages a variety of important responsibilities. The focus of the Treasury Intern will be to assist with a variety of projects and tasks that touch on many different aspects of the Treasury department. This internship is for Summer 2025 6/2/2025 - 8/29/2025 based in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Treasury team with cash forecasts and daily cash summaries
• Handle cash duties, including payments and receipts and reconciliation of daily cash position
• Support fleet finance and administration
• Assist with corporate insurance tasks
• Manage fuel administration and operations
• Engage in risk management and financial markets activities
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting for corporate finance and borrowing
• Participate in contract negotiations
• Perform scenario analysis
• Provide internal consulting to functions across the organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant undergraduate-level coursework completed or currently enrolled in a graduate program, preferred
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university
• Relevant coursework includes finance, accounting, business administration, economics, mathematics, and other quantitative disciplines
• Demonstrated understanding of economic, financial and accounting concepts
• Familiarity with Excel, macros and other software used for data mining and analysis
• Available to work full-time hours during course of internship

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in finance, accounting, capital markets including the fuel markets and/or treasury management
• Interest in aviation is a plus, but not necessary
