About the position
The Electrical Engineering Internship at Ulteig offers a unique opportunity for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the power market. Interns will work closely with engineers on various projects, focusing on high voltage design and protection and control systems. This role emphasizes personal growth, technical skill development, and client success through project deliverables, with the potential for hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Work under close supervision to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Assist engineers in completing assignments related to high voltage design and protection and control projects.
- Participate in site visits and training opportunities as available.
- Support project deliverables for utility and renewable clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years completed towards earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Specific coursework specializing in electrical power systems is preferred.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word and Excel) is required.
- Must be able to work over summer 2025 in one of the office locations listed, with the option to work during the school year based on business needs.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
