We are currently seeking Summer Help to join our team at the Menasha Plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Summer Help supports a variety of tasks within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Ability to be flexible in daily work assignment
• Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards
• Responsible for supporting the production of quality products while maintaining production performance
• Report on Statistical Process Control Data on the main attributes of the order being produced
• Constantly monitor quality and waste for all orders being produced
• Assist with troubleshooting print defects and minor machine problems
• Wash parts, clean, paint
• Emptying and grounding of dirty rag bins
• General department housekeeping, cleaning, painting
• Inventory support (sleeves, air carriers)
• Assisting fulltime Press Assistants/PreOps
• Retrieve supplies, blades, tape, rags, cores
• Help take end-of-series rolls off press
• Help with finished roll handling, including moving, stacking and banding
• Band waste and recycling materials, operate standup forklift to move waste to pick up locations for Waste Recovery
• Back move raw stock
• Help with Make-ready responsibilities as requested; changing sleeves, air carrier, aniloxes
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• This job is in a manufacturing environment working on and around heavy machinery with high-speed rotating parts; continuous strobe lights may be present
• Must have the ability to operate industrial power vehicles

• Must be detail oriented
• Must be comfortable with computers
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a timely manner
• Must be able to distinguish colors, lift up to 50 pounds and work around solvents
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing requirements

Benefits

• Pay: $18/hr
• Shift: 1st (6a-2p), 2nd (2p-10p), or 3rd (10p-6a)
• Straight shift (no rotating), Monday through Friday
