About The Position

This Supervisory Electronics Engineer position serves as Chief Engineer for the Office of the Project Manager Cyber and Space outside Fort Meade, MD in Hanover, MD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering from an accredited program.
  • One year of specialized experience providing system engineering and integration support for software-intensive systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (SCI) security clearance.
  • Foundational Career Level Certification in Acquisition Career Field 'Engineering' or ability to obtain certification within 36 months of appointment.
  • Must pass drug screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the development of assigned equipment/systems capabilities and the use of Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) for fielding IEWS technologies.
  • Responsible for guiding the work through subordinates or other personnel by means of periodic reviews, briefings, reports, or observations.
  • Represent PEO/PM at conferences and meetings with the most senior representatives from DOD, DA, MACOMs, foreign governments and industry.
  • Maintain knowledge and familiarity of acquisition advanced development programs with activities of other agencies that can be effectively and economically applied to the requirements of PEO/PM programs.
