This position is a federal role located in Red Lake, MN, with an open application period from December 16, 2024, to January 31, 2025. All qualifying experiences, including part-time work, will be credited. Basic requirements include a graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program. The education must be accredited by recognized bodies at the time the degree was obtained. For those with degrees from foreign nursing schools, official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required. Additionally, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination and possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted nursing license from a U.S. state or territory. For the GS-11 grade level, applicants must have either a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or at least one year of professional nursing experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level, along with the required educational qualifications. Experience must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties, including nursing concepts, assessment skills, teaching principles, and management skills.
