About The Position

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level.
• Experience managing operations programs related to administrative and financial objectives.
• Ability to plan, track, and report on program goals and milestones.
• Experience providing technical direction to subordinate employees.
• Skill in resolving complex and controversial issues.
• Experience assessing program efficiency through data collection and analysis.
• Ability to develop metrics for analyzing production data to assess program performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for the Business Operations Program (BOP) within the DEA Houston Field Division.
• Ensure the implementation of proper BOP policies, procedures, and systems.
• Manage all BOP activities, including general services, financial, and procurement functions.
• Facilitate the development of short and long-range BOP plans to support the division's objectives.
• Mentor employees as part of the career development program.
• Act as a liaison with internal and external organizations and headquarters.
