About the position

As a Transportation/Warehouse Management Consultant at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in driving excellence in Warehouse Management and Transportation Management practices for Fortune 500 clients. This position involves providing strategic guidance, managing client engagements, and delivering solutions that enhance fulfillment capabilities and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and implement industry-leading solutions while staying updated on trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Engage actively on programs as a consultant to drive day-to-day project activities and mentor colleagues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and objectives.
  • Drive activities such as solution definition, business process definition, and requirements documentation.
  • Develop industry-leading WMS/TMS solutions to optimize fulfillment capabilities and streamline business processes.
  • Contribute to defining KPIs and metrics, strategies to measure and optimize them for clients.
  • Assess clients' existing Fulfillment, TMS, and WMS systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement TMS, WMS, and Network Optimization solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in order management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Transportation Management, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Management consulting, or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Transportation and Warehouse leading practices, processes, and systems, including 2+ full lifecycle implementations on TMS/WMS platforms like Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with Agile and Waterfall Delivery Methodologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
