The Supply Chain Risk Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain Risk Manager by analyzing and measuring the performance of National Grid's supply chain. This position will provide insights to Global Procurement Leadership and Category Teams, especially as National Grid leads the charge towards a Net Zero future in the UK and Northeast USA. With a significant investment of over £60bn planned over the next five years, this role is pivotal in navigating the unprecedented challenges our supply chains face. The Supply Chain Risk Specialist will help ensure that our procurement strategies align with our Net Zero goals, making this an exciting time for our industry and for National Grid. In this position, you will provide current and predictive insights on category, supplier, and market risk, driving deeper knowledge and understanding to enable continuous improvement. You will engage with key stakeholders to support category strategies, engineer solutions that leverage existing tools, and provide regular reporting on supply chain risks and market insights. Your work will enhance the global view of National Grid's critical supply chain performance, identifying risks and opportunities to reach strategic goals. You will also manage real-time supply chain risk transparencies, offering active counter-measure options to support procurement effectiveness.
