About The Position

The support mechanic is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on various equipment and facilities throughout the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. This role is essential in ensuring that the medical center operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

• Vocational / Technical Degree or Apprenticeship and 4 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools.
• Critical thinking and good problem-solving skills.

• 2 year / Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on various equipment and facilities.
