About the position

The Support Plans Coordinators and Activity Assessment Technical Expert role at Advanced Decision Vectors, LLC involves providing critical support to the Air Combat Command's Counter Narco-terrorism initiatives. This position focuses on developing and aligning support plans with the USSOUTHCOM Campaign Plan, assessing program effectiveness, and advising senior leadership on counter narcotics strategies. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, operational planning, and effective communication skills to support the warfighter in combating narco-terrorism globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and ensures alignment of component and country team support plans with the USSOUTHCOM Campaign Plan.
  • Assists the Partner Nation and USSOUTHCOM J352, CD/CN Branch, Subject Matter Expert with development and revision of the SCP.
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking Counter Threat Network operational requirements and development of recommended OAIs.
  • Serves as the Lead Technical Expert for supporting all CN/CTOC strategic planning, execution, and assessments.
  • Attends and participates in various joint planning groups and working groups as directed by the Government SME lead.
  • Assists operational leads with the development and evaluation of detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of CN strategy.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of CD lines of efforts and recommends changes to programs and processes.
  • Enables Counter Narcotics and Counter Transnational Criminal Organizations efforts in support of the USSOUTHCOM Campaign Plan.
  • Assists the SC CN/C-TCO Directorate Subject Matter Expert with development and revision of the SCP and CN/C-TCO policy, doctrine, and plans.
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking CN/C-TCO planning efforts, operations/integration, and metrics requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) access with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or an Associate's Degree with eight years of relevant experience, or ten years of relevant experience).
  • Five years' experience in joint/combined operations and DOD operational planning.
  • Experience in deliberate and crisis action planning, operational knowledge of aerial and maritime interdiction programs, and risk mitigation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOD/federal agency CN/C-TOC programs and operations.
  • Familiarity with Inter-Agency coordination and planning, bi-lateral cooperation agreements, and USSOUTHCOM AOR experience.
  • Spanish language proficiency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SECDEF/CJCS/JS to GCC/FCC interactions and directives.
  • Knowledge of various command entities involved in overall planning and execution of operations.
