About the position

Summit Surgical Center, a brand-new ambulatory surgery center (ASC) located in the Las Vegas Valley, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Tech to join the team in the Summer 2025. As a member of our founding staff, you’ll play a vital role in creating a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting focused on interventional pain management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
• Support the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Verify supplies and equipment are available and functioning.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory standards (AAAHC, OSHA, Medicare).
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ambulatory surgical center (ASC) setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
• Experience and familiarity with fluoroscopy and neurostimulation procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
