The Surgical Technologist at Sightpath Medical plays a crucial role in providing specialized support for mobile cataract and LASIK services. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for a specific customer, delivering specialized service for their cataract business.
- Manage inventory for assigned territory and ensure equipment is prepared for procedures.
- Provide support during ophthalmic procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the operating room.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons and their teams to build strong relationships.
- Adapt to customer needs while on-site, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism.
Requirements
- Must hold a degree in Surgical Technology and be certified or eligible for certification through the NBSTSA.
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of a company iPhone and iPad.
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships with medical staff.
Nice-to-haves
- Ophthalmic experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience in high-pressure environments.
