SVP-Investor Relations

About the position

Moody's is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) to join their Investor Relations (IR) team. This strategic role involves representing and communicating Moody's business performance and outlook to the investment community. The SVP will be responsible for crafting impactful earnings-related materials, creating speeches and presentations for senior management, and driving investor targeting initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on explaining key financial metrics, particularly in the SaaS and software sectors.

Responsibilities

• Represent and communicate Moody's business performance and outlook to the investment community.
• Craft insightful and impactful earnings-related materials, including speeches and presentations for senior management.
• Drive investor targeting initiatives, identifying prospects and implementing strategies to broaden the investor and analytical base.
• Explain key financial metrics related to SaaS and software solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the Investor Relations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CFA preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in investor relations and/or equity research, preferably in the SaaS or software space.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach, effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends.
