About the position
The SCCM Patching & Deployment position in Pittsburgh, PA requires a candidate with a strong understanding of SCCM, particularly with advanced knowledge in application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting. The role involves creating collections, packages, and applications within SCCM, and requires experience with both SCCM 2007 and 2012. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM-related issues. Additionally, expertise in SCCM administration, deployment, packaging, network inventory, boundaries, installer, and network designing is essential. The position also involves deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows devices, and requires excellent competency with SCCM, WSUS, and other patching tools. Experience in supporting Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, and 2019 is also necessary.
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of SCCM with advanced knowledge of application deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, client and server maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Experience creating collections, packages, applications within SCCM.
- Strong experience in SCCM 2007 & 2012.
- Experience in installation of Microsoft System Configuration Manager 2007-2012.
- In-depth knowledge of SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM issues.
- Expertise in SCCM Administration, deployment, packaging, network inventory, boundaries, installer and network designing.
- Experience in deploying, troubleshooting, and managing Windows devices.
- Excellent competency with SCCM, WSUS and other patching tools.
- Experience in supporting Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in SCCM.
- Experience required: more than 6 years in related fields.
- Technical/Functional skills in SCCM 2012.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with high availability, disaster recovery and server tuning strategies.
- Experience with TCP/IP Networking.
- Knowledge on creating automated scripts (Powershell, shell script, etc.).
- Preparing and reporting technical and presentation documents.
Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 a year
