Accenture Federal Services is seeking a System Administrator to act as liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations, and provide software and web developers, programmers, and testers support and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of software systems meet the effort requirements and needs of users
  • Installation and configuration of software applications, databases, and middleware components according to best practices and system requirements
  • Monitor the performance, health, and availability of software systems and applications
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as: software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security
  • Configuration and management of security policies, firewalls, and access controls to enforce security
  • Provide technical support and assistance for end-users

Requirements

  • 3 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities
  • 3 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties
  • 1 year of experience supporting a cloud environment (AWS preferred) to include delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues
  • 1 year of experience in a DevSecOps environment (e.g., working with configuration management tools, applying automation & infrastructure as code concepts)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, or 4 years of professional or military experience in lieu of a degree
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
