Avint LLC is seeking a System Administrator who has experience providing support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the public sector. The System Administrator will contribute to the growth of the company by leading a team to effectively manage policy, and overall programmatic risk. Responsibilities

  • Support STIG compliance for VMware environments.
  • Ensure security hardening for virtualized infrastructure.
  • Work with Windows environments and have familiarity with RHEL and storage solutions.
  • Assess and remediate STIG compliance issues proactively.
  • Support STIG compliance for Active Directory and DNS.
  • Maintain security and compliance standards for Windows-based infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
  • Work with Trellix/McAfee, Windows anti-virus solutions, and other security tools.
  • Ensure immediate STIG assessment and remediation.
  • Support and optimize Splunk logging environments.
  • Potentially stand up a second Splunk server.
  • Work with STIG compliance for central logging and storage environments.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance and CAC must be available on Day 1.
  • Strong experience with VMware security and STIGs.
  • Windows administration background; familiarity with RHEL and storage.
  • Security+ certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of STIGs and compliance for AESS environments.
  • Familiarity with Trellix/McAfee and Windows security tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk optimization and central logging.
  • Familiarity with STIG compliance for security logging and RHEL environments.
