System Application Administrator

FEDITC is seeking a System Application Administrator to work in the Hampton, VA area.

Responsibilities

• Test, implement, administer, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain operation of virtualization software, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems on all networks.
• Test, implement, administer, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain operation of web based applications utilizing Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) including UNICORN and Patriot Excalibur (PEX).
• Track, assign, troubleshoot, fix and/or close trouble tickets and new requirements in appropriate electronic system.
• Administer, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain operations of Information Store (iSToRE) servers on two different networks.
• Coordinate with Program Management Offices (PMOs) for ongoing updates and maintenance of the websites.
• Draft, edit, maintain and provide input to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Create, develop, upgrade, and maintain SharePoint sites utilizing various SharePoint capabilities.
• Maintain applications and Virtual Machines (VMs) in a Cloud Computing Services (C2S) Dev/Ops, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or like cloud environment.

Requirements

• Experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or most current version.
• Experience in administering and maintaining VMware versions 5.x/6.x or most current version.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 or most current version.
• Experience with SharePoint 2012/2014 or most current version.
• Experience as a site maintainer or with Microsoft IIS 7.x/8.x or most current version.
• Certification: Security+.
• Clearance: TS w/ SCI eligibility required.
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
