About the position

The Systems Integration & Test Lead at Leidos is responsible for managing the daily operations of an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) test range and System Integration Laboratory (SIL). This role involves coordinating integration, testing, training, and maintenance events, serving as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders, and ensuring that all systems are operational to support planned activities. The position requires a deep understanding of the C-sUAS System of Systems and involves close collaboration with engineering staff, customer representatives, and industry partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize daily range activities including integration, test, maintenance, and training events.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and customers to ensure effective solutions.
  • Assess existing workflows and processes for improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity assessments for services and projects.
  • Ensure all range systems are operational and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor and update the range schedule for upcoming activities.
  • Lead weekly customer engagement meetings to provide updates on range status.
  • Apply change management strategies to minimize disruptions during project execution.
  • Document range policies and procedures.
  • Support small-UAS operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with eight years of experience or a Master's degree with six years of experience in project management or engineering.
  • Four years of management experience with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous site management experience.
  • Experience operating and maintaining radar, EO/IR, and EW systems.
  • Ability to work extended hours to support range operations as needed.
  • US citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • FAA Part 107 Pilots License and experience with flight operations.
  • Experience leading integration and test events.
  • Familiarity with C-sUAS systems and capabilities.
