About the position

The Systems Administrator (Linux) position at Dutch Ridge Consulting Group, LLC (DRCG) is a senior-level role focused on supporting federal customers in modernizing and transforming their IT environments. The role requires expertise in both Linux and Windows administration, with a strong emphasis on managing unclassified and classified systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks, including server installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening, while also providing support for new application deployments and system maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support federal customer's IT modernization goals.
• Serve as a Senior/SME level System Administrator for unclassified and classified systems.
• Administer Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Manage user accounts via Active Directory and Red Hat Identity Management.
• Assist in patching and maintaining Linux servers.
• Install and configure RedHat Enterprise Linux 7, 8 & 9.
• Conduct Linux server security hardening and troubleshooting.
• Create and install Linux servers in Nutanix, AWS, and Azure environments.
• Deploy new applications and manage Linux virtual machines.
• Prepare and provide SOP documents for new Linux tasks.

Requirements

• Active/current Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.
• 7+ years of relevant hands-on Systems Administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
• Senior level experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Relevant certifications in Systems Administration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
