About the position

This role is open due to a large R&D program aimed at updating the Cyberknife product. The company has been collaborating with several consultants in Europe but has faced challenges with communication and time zones. They are seeking a local Systems Administrator to assist with hardware support. The Systems Administrator will work within a smaller compute-to-networking team that defines operating systems, creates configurations, and handles OS deployment for the Cyberknife product. The role involves upgrading major operating systems, including Windows 11 and Linux, to enhance cybersecurity and network patching, as well as vetting new hardware.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage operating systems for the Cyberknife product.
• Create configurations and oversee OS deployment.
• Upgrade major operating systems, including Windows 11 and Linux.
• Support cybersecurity and network patching.
• Vet and integrate new hardware.
• Administer network configurations and ensure smooth IP networking.
• Work with Juniper and Cisco firewalls.

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator

• 3+ years of experience in networking firewalls and switch configuration (Cisco or Juniper)
• 3+ years of experience in administering a network
• 3+ years of experience in creating networking requirements and test documentation
