As a System Application Engineer, you'll deliver cutting-edge Building Automation System projects that enhance efficiency and comfort in various facilities. Work with Tech Team members to: Start-up and Commission complex HVAC Building Automation Systems, Provide sketches and as-built drawings of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings, Provide start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation, Review graphical user interfaces for Building Automation Systems as part of system commissioning. Receive on-line, classroom and hands-on training to advance your skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Start-up and Commission complex HVAC Building Automation Systems
- Provide sketches and as-built drawings of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings
- Provide start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for use in commissioning and validation
- Review graphical user interfaces for Building Automation Systems as part of system commissioning
Requirements
- Recently completed a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
- Basic HVAC Systems and equipment, Chilled and Hot Water Loops, Constant and Variable Volume Air Handling Units, Fan Powered Vav Units etc.
- Basic Electrical knowledge on power wiring, Motor Starters, VFD's
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, Equipment and Component wiring diagrams and Control wiring basics
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a TEAM
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge
