About the position

As the Systems Application Engineer III, your role is vital for managing the technology supporting the Security Command Center, enterprise physical access control system, and video management system. Your ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, respond to emergencies, and collaborate effectively with IT and Cyber Security Risk Compliance (CSRC) teams are also essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring technical controls for regulatory compliance
• Managing system patching and life cycle planning
• Overseeing asset onboarding and off-boarding
• Leading projects related to access control and video management systems
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory programs such as NERC CIP, SOX, BPU, and FERC Affiliate Restrictions
• Managing patching cycles for workstations and servers
• Upgrading/implementing systems
• Overseeing life cycle management and vulnerability mitigations
• Supporting infrastructure projects
• Field controller initialization
• Reader configuration
• Access permissions
• Schedules
• Software configuration
• Programming and graphical floorplan creation
• Configuring IP cameras and recording parameters
• Creating maps
• Supporting and maintaining Automation systems and related infrastructure

Requirements

• Degree in BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical engineering, or similar programming
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus protocols preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, air handlers, chillers, controls
• Troubleshooting, wiring, devices and problem solving skills
