• Ability to interact with senior leadership and high-level military and civilian personnel.

• ABFT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct laboratory operations and supervise analysts, technicians, and administrative support personnel.
• Introduce ideas for method development and improvement in forensic toxicology.
• Perform review of analytical data and make decisions based on scientific evidence and case history.
• Provide screening and confirmation data, quantitative data, and corrective action measures.
• Participate in research and method development programs and implement improvements post-completion.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the military drug testing community and perform analyses on biological specimens.
• Lead research and analytical projects, scheduling personnel and equipment resources.
• Supervise contractor analysts and perform full scientific review of test data.
