About the position
The Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Data Protection will support the DOJ's National Security Division by designing, implementing, and maintaining critical data protection solutions. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and availability of data within the organization's infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data protection solutions
- Ensure virtual machine restoration meets RPO and RTO requirements
- Perform systems administration and maintenance activities
Requirements
- 10+ years of Systems Engineering/Administration experience
- Expertise in data protection solutions (NetApp, Dell Appassure, Dell EMC, Veeam, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Infrastructure Certifications
- Active Top Secret clearance
