About The Position

The Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman will support a portfolio of programs focusing on missile defense, space, and intelligence. This role involves evaluating mission performance of military systems through modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Framework. The position requires collaboration with project teams and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM field and 0 years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to inform the development of systems.
• Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies to interpret complex data sets.
• Experience reading and interpreting systems engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
• Experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM).
• Experience with Ansys ModelCenter and SIMDIS.
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Graduate Certificate.
• INCOSE ASEP (or above) certification.

Responsibilities
