About the position
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Reliability Analytics). In this role, you will perform as the technical contributor for execution of the metric reporting and degrader analytics process. You will analyze trends, identifying unique operational problems that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to improve system performance. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of being a self-starter, manage time appropriately and have the ability to establish and maintain a library of technical performance metric documentation. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Responsibilities
- Perform as the technical contributor for execution of the metric reporting and degrader analytics process.
- Analyze trends and identify unique operational problems.
- Implement technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to improve system performance.
- Establish and maintain a library of technical performance metric documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, aeronautical, industrial, or systems engineering.
- Experience in using spreadsheets or databases (MS Excel, Access, HANA, Tableau, or SQL/Oracle).
- Experience with manipulation/analysis of data in spreadsheets.
- Coursework or experience in formal presentation development, PowerPoint construct and delivery.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced experience in using spreadsheets (MS Excel - Equations, Pivot Tables and/or VBA).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of performance metric measures and readiness reporting techniques.
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy and quick delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
