About The Position

We are seeking a Mid to Senior level Systems Engineer to provide Engineering Support Services for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program under the Department of Navy. The role involves supporting multiple engineering disciplines and ensuring the reliability of modeling and simulation results for flight testing and safety decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience, or a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or 8 years of demonstrated experience without a degree.
• Active Secret level clearance and ability to sustain it.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with Configuration Management practices and tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for engineering designs.
• Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis, and solid mechanics.
• Understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Design, Navigation, Guidance, and Control, and related systems.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of various engineering disciplines related to the CPS program.
• Navy weapons and engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Technical Data Packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support to the CPS program office.
• Conduct design studies and evaluations related to research, development, production, and operations.
• Review and provide technical advice on documentation submissions from work performers.
• Perform risk assessments and analysis using modeling and simulation techniques.
• Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of systems engineering issues.
• Prepare technical presentations and briefings for program management issues.
• Collaborate with CPS program office stakeholders and facilitate resolution of technical issues.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for cost, schedule, and technical issues.
• Provide weekly reports on significant issues and actions.
• Support the transition of research and developmental efforts into production.
