About The Position

As a Systems Support Apprentice at IBM, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors to support client systems. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience with hardware and the latest technologies, allowing you to develop essential skills and competencies over a 12-month period. Upon completion, you will receive a nationally-recognized credential and be eligible for full-time roles at IBM.

Requirements

• Willingness to complete the requirements of the apprenticeship program.
• Some knowledge or experience with Operating Systems like Windows and Linux.
• Understanding of general networking and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Experience in server or storage management.

Responsibilities

• Support client systems alongside experienced engineers and mentors.
• Apply hardware knowledge using the latest tools and technologies.
• Complete specific learning hours and on-the-job training as outlined in the apprenticeship program.
• Collaborate with project teams to demonstrate new knowledge and competencies.
