About the position

The Talent Acquisition Operations role at Blue Origin is focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process across the organization. This position involves evaluating current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to streamline hiring practices. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the HR Analytics team to derive insights and drive operational excellence in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate operational processes across Talent Acquisition (TA) and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and their implications on recruiting processes.
  • Incorporate technical and functional hiring needs into effective recruiting processes.
  • Support workshops and events with stakeholders to drive process improvements.
  • Research industry best practices and conduct analysis to identify improvement opportunities in recruiting coordination practices.
  • Support the prioritization of proposed process changes from stakeholders and execute change management plans.
  • Support external audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related business area is preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruiting and/or Human Resources background.
  • Experience in recruitment process development.
  • Understanding of EEO requirements and their application to the recruiting process.
  • Proven success in critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills to build relationships and develop solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and human capital management systems.
  • Strong internal and external customer service focus.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expertise in Workday, Jira, or similar ATS and ticketing systems.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, including change management.
  • Experience with training development or delivery.
  • Experience in a startup, high growth, or ambiguous environment.
