Koppers Inc. is seeking a dedicated recruiter to deliver full life cycle recruitment for non-exempt talent. This role involves sourcing, screening, and preparing candidates for interviews across assigned locations. The recruiter will present hiring managers with qualified candidates and develop candidate pipelines for recurring skill sets. Close collaboration with hiring managers is essential to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to the onboarding of new hires. The recruiter will extend offers for employment, initiate pre-employment checks, and maintain a high volume of job requisitions that require quick turnaround times. Key performance indicators such as time to fill will be a focus, and the recruiter will work with temporary agencies as needed for temp workers. Regular communication with hiring managers regarding current and future recruitment needs is crucial, as is attending career fairs, trade schools, and labor halls to develop a network and pipeline of talent. The recruiter will maintain the Applicant Tracking System in Workday for all hourly positions and provide support and direction to all plants on the application process. Additional responsibilities include assisting in other talent acquisition activities, supporting the intern program, advising hiring teams on policies and procedures, and providing training to hiring managers and their teams.
