About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the recruitment strategies and processes that attract top-tier talent to Weber, Inc. This role focuses on creating a seamless candidate experience and partnering with key stakeholders to meet hiring goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify sourcing methods to build a pipeline of qualified candidates (e.g., social media, job boards, referrals).
  • Oversee the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline recruitment workflows.
  • Monitor hiring trends and adjust strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.
  • Oversee the selection process including identifying and assessing candidates, conducting pre-screens, facilitating interviews and gathering candidate and management feedback.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to position the company to successfully hire the best talent.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and negotiate offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that deliver a pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with leadership teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as a point of contact between the recruiting team and other departments.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the recruitment process to enhance candidate experience and diversity efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, labor laws, and market conditions.
  • Drive initiatives that promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and other external hiring opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture a network of contacts throughout the community and industry to expand Weber's reputation as a top employer.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling job postings and social media campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and create actionable recruitment strategies.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Must be proactive and enjoy taking the initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in sourcing and identifying and screening candidates through social media, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • 2+ years in sourcing/recruiting technical roles (e.g., Technical Project Manager, Engineers, Field Service).

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
  • Food processing industry experience is highly desirable.
