About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for performing full cycle recruiting to support the department and organizational initiatives by fulfilling 'best in class' candidate selection efficiently and effectively. Reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the full recruiting process including internal transfers and external staffing.
  • Partners with hiring manager and HR centers of excellence to determine ideal candidate profile, external campaign strategy, candidate selection, offers, Onboarding, retention, and career pathing initiatives.
  • Liaises with HR centers of excellence to provide feedback from candidates, hiring managers, and outside agencies regarding retention and career pathing initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains a consistent applicant pipeline aligning with organizational branding when participating in job fairs and hiring events.
  • Completes full-life cycle hiring practices utilizing all internal resources to maintain compliance.
  • Utilizes federal and state employment law knowledge and practices along with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Nursing, Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting utilizing LinkedIn and other social media tools for advertising and branding efforts in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for a broad range of technical and professional positions.
  • Excellent interviewing, oral, and written presentation skills along with critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with ability to develop and foster relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills amongst all levels of colleagues and customers.
  • Excellent ability to quickly learn systems, emerging technology, and offer strong analysis and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to establish priorities independently, multi-task efficiently, demonstrate sound judgment, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR/Employment law, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (nights and weekends), as needed.

  • Salary range from 29.95 to 44.93 per hour.
