About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at 3M plays a crucial role in driving talent acquisition efforts by building strong external networks and utilizing various recruiting tools. This position focuses on innovative sourcing strategies, competitive intelligence, and collaboration with stakeholders to attract diverse talent. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility while working at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

Responsibilities

• Build strong external networks in the US & Canada to drive talent to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or pipeline in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Work with recruiting and candidate-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools.
• Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies.
• Convey competitive intelligence and trends to hiring managers and business stakeholders.
• Research and build strategies for talent pooling, market mapping, market research, and competitor analysis.
• Monitor individual performance through data and metrics to track candidates through the sourcing process.
• Collaborate with Strategic Workforce Planning, University & Events Recruiting.
• Support sourcing diverse talent activities through professional partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of talent acquisition experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Three (3) years of experience building and deploying diverse external talent sourcing strategies.
