About The Position

The Tavern Kitchen Manager at Seventy Six Lamb is responsible for upholding the company's service culture and standards while managing kitchen operations. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. The manager will also assist in food prep during off-peak times and perform related duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • At least six months of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to obtain all necessary work cards.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement and mature decision-making.
  • Great attention to detail to maintain appearance and operating standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push 150 to 250 lbs on a pushcart.
  • Ability to enter walk-ins of 10 degrees to 140 degrees with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods.

Responsibilities

  • Practice, support, and promote Seventy Six's 'We Win Heart Service' culture.
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking.
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area.
  • Ensure kitchen and equipment are in good working order and hazard-free.
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
