The Tax Accountant/Enrolled Agent at City Center Tax Group is responsible for preparing accurate tax returns and providing consulting services to clients. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns from provided client documents
• Meet with clients in person to discuss their tax needs
• Prepare spreadsheets and workpapers from client materials
• Set up and maintain client portals in Sharefile for secure document exchange
• Respond to client's IRS and state letters and notices
• Take on audit and representation work

Requirements

• 5 years of tax preparation experience
• Enrolled Agent designation
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong data organizing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong administration skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of tax software systems, such as UltraTax
• Excellent interpersonal skills
