About the position

Renoir Staffing is seeking a dedicated Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join our team in West Covina, CA. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in sales, marketing, and customer service, and who are looking for a role that offers both temporary and permanent opportunities. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing resident files, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing exceptional service to our residents and applicants. You will work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate resident files, assisting applicants with the application process, and creating and updating the waitlist. You will also handle re-certifications and renewals in a timely manner, ensuring that all applicants and residents comply with government regulations. Daily, weekly, and monthly reports will be assigned by the Property Manager, and you will assist residents with work orders or any issues they may encounter in their homes. Responsibilities

  • Processes and maintains accurate resident files
  • Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
  • Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
  • Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
  • Assists applicants with the application process
  • Creates and updates the wait list
  • Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
  • Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
  • Completes move-in walkthroughs with new residents

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Property Management software
  • Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding and compliance with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws, and Cal-OSHA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
