About the position

You'll also ensure manufacturing operating system standards are applied and standardized throughout the area, create and coordinate work plans to ensure the team is maintaining production flow, and promote, support, and coach a continuous improvement mindset and activities in the team. Achieving business results by delivery of key performance indicators to ensure objectives are met is also a key responsibility. You will drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles, motivate teams by leveraging technology and best-in-class manufacturing systems, and mentor, nurture, and develop teams to own working together, modeling the values and expected behaviors. Supporting teams by removing barriers to their success and developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities is essential. You will lead change efforts to construct and achieve manufacturing standards, demonstrate empathy and embrace Gemba philosophy by engaging regularly with employees in production environments to listen and problem solve, and champion the formation of the culture required to achieve the Vision, Mission, and Values to deliver performance objectives. Enabling a culture of learning through demonstration of effective communication skills and developing 'leaders as teachers' at all levels by ensuring all employees receive necessary training, coaching, and support to optimize performance and advance both the overall organization as well as self is also part of your role.
