About the position
The Team Member/Cashier position at Saladworks involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. This position offers opportunities for advancement as the company expands its operations in Reno.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- Helps with other areas of the restaurant when needed
- Completes opening and/or closing checklists
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service setting is a plus, but not required
- Must be pleasant, personable, and friendly
- Must exhibit a sense of urgency
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, co-workers, management, and others
- Must be able to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours
Nice-to-haves
- Food service experience (1 year preferred)
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
