About the position

The Tech Coach position at CMS Fleet Services involves providing essential support to technicians and operations teams at The Home Depot. The role focuses on analyzing data, managing communication, and ensuring that all rental fleet units are ready for service. The Tech Coach plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by dispatching accurate information and supporting technicians in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily support to assigned Technicians.
  • Manages high volume incoming and outgoing phone calls.
  • Manages high volume incoming and outgoing emails.
  • Manages a high volume of Repair Order requests for approvals coming in from assigned Technicians in the field.
  • Analyzes assigned Technicians' daily paperwork.
  • Runs daily and weekly analysis of Technicians' expected nets.
  • Prioritizes on-demand VIP requests.
  • Obtains and dispatches accurate, valid, and detailed information to Technicians.
  • Works with Technicians to ensure dispatched requests are completed within 7 days of assignment.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to work 1 On Call weekend every 4-6 weeks.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in managing a Team from a Coaching perspective.
