We are building the central and unified authorization service at Bytedance. The services we build and support include the Authorization Product, which provides the customer-facing interface that's used by all Bytedance employees daily, and the Authorization Backend, which provides the unified and central authorization capability at Bytedance. We have a unique opportunity to drive Least Privilege Access Control on Bytedance Infrastructure and make it the most secure cloud in the industry. Experience with security is a plus, but not required for our positions, and we welcome any engineer with a security mindset and passion for building secure and scalable infrastructure to talk to us!

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the authorization engineering US team
• Set the product vision and strategy with product and business teams, and oversee the engineering roadmap
• Effectively scale the engineering team by attracting and mentoring extraordinary people at various experience levels to grow a high performing and diverse team
• Serve as a technical expert for requirements, design and implementation of company-wide authorization products and tools
• Partner with Product, Operation team, Security/Legal/Compliance and other Bytedance Engineering teams to drive the company-wide authorization area
