About the position

In this role as a Technical Account Manager for Animal Health at Novonesis, you will play a crucial part in the expansion of the Animal Nutrition and Health unit, focusing on sustainability and natural production methods. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and organizing Technical Services across the Andean region, which will require a willingness to travel. You will provide technical assistance in the field to poultry and swine companies, ensuring that they receive the support they need to implement best practices in animal health and nutrition. Additionally, you will be involved in conducting scientific studies, from the initial experimental design phase through to publication. This will require a strong understanding of research methodologies and the ability to adapt and classify technical and scientific materials for the local market. Training will also be a significant part of your role, as you will prepare and execute training sessions for clients, teams, and business partners, ensuring that they are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their operations. Your expertise in veterinary medicine or zootechnics will be essential, as you will leverage your knowledge and experience to provide valuable insights and solutions to our clients. This position is not just about managing accounts; it is about making a meaningful impact in the animal health sector by promoting sustainable practices and improving animal welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the expansion process of the Animal Nutrition and Health unit.
  • Coordinate and organize Technical Services throughout the Andean region.
  • Provide technical assistance in the field to poultry and swine companies.
  • Conduct scientific studies from experimental design to publication.
  • Adapt and classify technical and scientific materials for the local market.
  • Prepare and execute training for clients, teams, and business partners.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Medicine or Zootechnics degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Animal Production, Health, and Nutrition, preferably in poultry and pork.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience in Animal Production without growth-promoting antibiotics.
  • Experience in Salmonellosis Control and Food Safety.
  • Knowledge of Animal Legislation.
  • Experience in Animal Production, including chicken, breeder, turkey, or layer farms.
  • Experience in the design and use of feed additive programs in poultry/swine farming.
