As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers' innovative spirit across a wide range of technologies. This position is not a sales role; instead, it focuses on being the principal technical advisor and the 'voice of the customer' for Department of Defense clients. Your primary responsibility will be to help craft and execute strategies that drive the adoption and effective use of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, and CodePipeline. Your technical expertise and customer-facing skills will be essential in representing AWS within the customer's environment. You will engage in discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management. By providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance, you will help customers plan and build solutions using best practices, ensuring their AWS environments remain operationally healthy. The close relationships you develop with your customers will enable you to understand their business and operational needs, as well as their technical challenges, allowing you to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. This role requires a US Citizen who currently possesses and maintains an active TS/SCI security clearance.
