As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Pressable, you will play a crucial role in driving customer adoption of WordPress and other Automattic products and services. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will be essential in effectively representing Automattic to our clients. You will lead discussions with senior leadership regarding technical and product strategy, incidents, trade-offs, and risk management. Collaborating closely with developers and senior engineers, you will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help customers plan and build solutions that proactively drive application health. Building strong relationships with your customers is key to understanding their business and operational needs, as well as their technical challenges. Your goal will be to help them gain the greatest value from our products. You will be motivated by the impact you can achieve, whether that’s through the rapid deployment of bespoke, high-profile sites, assisting businesses with their digital transformation, or working with influential companies to maximize their use of WordPress. Your proactive approach will help reduce friction for your colleagues and customers, ensuring that you respond rapidly when called upon. In this role, you will manage projects and timelines while working with a diverse range of stakeholders, from engineers to GMs and VPs of Sales. You will influence customer outcomes by analyzing health metrics and tracking interactions via tools, while also collaborating closely with team members to support renewals and expansion opportunities. Your ability to gauge customer engagement levels and provide feedback to internal stakeholders will be vital in driving product and service improvements. You will create structure in ambiguous situations, lead customer on-sites, conduct service reviews, and empower customers to achieve success with our products. Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and context-switching will be essential skills in this dynamic environment.
