About the position

The Account Manager at Prove is responsible for managing and optimizing partnerships with OEMs, carriers, chipset manufacturers, and ODMs in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), the role involves leading deployments, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring the success of OEM partnerships through effective integration and implementation of Prove's solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the complete sales process within subsidiaries of enterprise customers; perform discovery calls that drive pipeline and yield revenue.
  • Manage the upsell and cross-sell sales process for existing enterprise customers.
  • Drive deals forward by executing demos, quotes, proposals, and BVAs.
  • Manage your quarterly pipeline and complete forecasting reports with your manager.
  • Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner's integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize growth from new business opportunities by leveraging Google technologies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience achieving quota in a Sales Development/lead generation role within a B2B SaaS organization.
  • 4+ years of closing or account management experience within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Ability to achieve a quarterly sales quota.
  • Reputation for success in consultative sales environments and putting the customer first.
  • Experienced with independently running qualification calls and demos.
  • Requires a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, software engineering, engineering program management, or technical account management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing strategic partnerships or client relationships.
  • Experience with system architecture or device bring-up.
  • Experience in an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C++ or Python).
