About the position

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) plays a crucial role in managing the post-sales process for Enterprise-level customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing both technical and business issues throughout the sales cycle. This position requires strong communication skills to articulate the company's technology and product positioning to various stakeholders, from technical staff to C-level executives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
  • Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Provide functional and technical support to customers
  • Respond to customer questions on technical and business related issues
  • Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
  • Attend conferences, seminars, etc.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge in security and compliance space: Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Policy Compliance, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Network Scanners, PCI, Policy Compliance and Audit Tools, other enterprise security solutions
  • Knowledge in variety of Federal Regulatory Compliance issues: ISO 27001, HIPAA, GLBA, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
  • Strong presentation skills and professional communication in emails, RFPs, and reports
  • Ability to interact at all levels within customer organizations
  • Organized and analytical with creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout sales territory
