About the position

The Technical Account Manager at Prysmian Group is responsible for collaborating with regional sales and market managers to support sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction. This role involves managing customer escalations, developing technical solutions, and maintaining compliance with electrical codes and industry standards. The position requires a strong focus on customer engagement, project management, and technical leadership, with a significant amount of travel throughout North America.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales and market managers to support sales opportunities and growth.
• Manage and prioritize customer escalations to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with electrical codes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams regarding project status.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to maintain and grow the sales pipeline.
• Develop technical solutions to meet customer business needs.
• Document competitors' activities for market intelligence.
• Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance and Prysmian participation.
• Make technical presentations to all levels of the customer organization.
• Support development of engineering, testing, schedules, and cost estimates for project offerings.
• Prepare quality and timely technical scopes, solutions, and customer benefits for proposal documents.
• Provide technical leadership on all Field Service proposals, including customer bid reviews and competitive analysis.
• Analyze data and product specifications to ensure the finished product meets client needs.
• Develop and conduct customer installation training for fire-rated systems requiring manufacturer certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
• 3 years of experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of the electrical industry or wire and cable.
• Valid driver's license.
