About The Position

The Technical Adoption Manager for Application Networking & Security at Broadcom is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing the return on investment of VMware solutions. This role involves consulting closely with customers, addressing business and technical issues, and driving the adoption of VMware solutions within assigned accounts. The position requires a deep understanding of networking and security tools, as well as the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and collaborate with various internal teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of strong networking experience and knowledge of VMware networking products.
• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as TAM or technology consultant.
• BS degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Solid knowledge of VMware products including core product suite, virtualization, networking, and security.
• VMware Certified Professional Certification (VCP) or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• Technical background in advanced networking and security, with certifications preferred.
• Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure & Networking, Data Center Design, and Network Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Consult closely with customers to ensure satisfaction and ROI of VMware solutions.
• Engage resources across VMware to address business and technical issues impacting customer success.
• Expand adoption of VMware solutions within accounts by building relationships at all levels.
• Establish long-term relationships within assigned accounts and understand clients' strategic goals.
• Provide project leadership and architectural guidance for customers' Network Virtualization and VMware initiatives.
• Collaborate with multi-functional VMware project teams including consultants, engineers, and support staff.
• Map VMware solutions to customers' unique business and technical requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of VMware's load balancing and security solutions and product direction.
• Lead and drive requests across multiple client engagements.
• Provide product feedback to VMware Product Management based on customer use-cases.
