About the position

Our company is seeking a Technical Content Writer to support our AR research team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who collaborates well and can help craft internal reports, workplace posts, leadership notes, and portfolio documentation for a large employee base. You will work closely with our communications team, engineers, researchers, and leadership, as well as support high-level communications across the organization. Your role will involve creating key communications across a number of cross-functional teams to help find and produce compelling content for various channels, including our internal Wiki and Workplace groups. We are looking for someone who can take initiative while also being a team player and can thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce compelling content for an internal employee audience both within our division and throughout the wider Facebook community
  • Partner with various internal groups to inform and drive employee engagement
  • Develop materials to communicate complex research efforts to wider audiences
  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
  • Follow and help implement an editorial calendar with the Content Project Manager, collaborating with other members of the Operations team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as an internal website, workplace posts, product descriptions, videos, and blogs

Requirements

  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a sample or portfolio
  • Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaboration and feedback skills
  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously
  • Experience working on a team and communicating to all levels of the organization
  • Experience writing and turning complex information into relevant, engaging, timely, and valuable content
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Creative Writing/English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years professional experience working in communications, political campaigns, or nonprofit mission-driven communications
