About the position
The Technical Expert at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is responsible for providing systems engineering support to high-priority U.S. Government acquisitions, focusing on measurements, data processing, analysis, integration, systems performance, and mission security. This role involves leading support for sub-systems manufacturing and testing, ensuring compliance with mission security requirements, and utilizing advanced modeling tools to estimate system performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support to high priority USG acquisition with focus on measurements and data processing/analysis and test.
- Lead SETA support of sub-systems manufacturing, integration, and test.
- Support requirements, verifications, and analysis for systems.
- Support mission security requirements and physical materials/interface environmental requirements and analysis.
- Utilize physics-based MATLAB system model to estimate various modalities performance for multiple systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience with DoD and/or USAF systems engineering processes/procedures and the acquisition life cycle of systems, with 3 years in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last 5 years.
- Experience in systems engineering, testing data processing and analysis, systems analysis, test/manufacturing/performance, and multiple facets of subsystem integration.
- Proficiency in system simulation modeling and MATLAB programming.
- Master's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Electro-Magnetics, Math, Signal Processing, or equivalent) from an accredited university.
- US TS SCI security clearance.
